"Lynne Tagawa transports readers into the faith and hope, and sorrows and fears of 18th century colonial America. While other books feature the raw grit of frontier life, this book goes deeper and reveals the heart."
-- Douglas Bond, author of numerous books, including War in the Wasteland and Hostage Lands.
"The plot and characters are well thought out and quite intriguing. I think this is the first time I've ever read a book that so wonderfully combines history, romance, and solid biblical doctrine. I'm ready for a sequel!"
About me and my services:
I'm a Christian, married with four kids and an increasing number of grandchildren. The Lord saved me in college and it's been a journey ever since. To know what "brand" of believer I am, check out my church's statement of faith.
I'm an educator as well as editor and writer, and I'd like to help you if I can. I have experience with both fiction and nonfiction writing and editing. I have proofread theology, academic work, and novels. My copyediting prices are competitive, and I've added two new services: a critique for fiction, and low-cost formatting using Vellum software. See my editing page for more details.
My first book was a Texas history curriculum written as a novel: Sam Houston's Republic. My first novel, A Twisted Strand, is contemporary romantic suspense, but I'd like to think of it as a low-key gospel tract, since the characters' most important challenge is spiritual in nature. The Shenandoah Road, set in the period of the first Great Awakening, was a true adventure to write, and I hope you enjoy it as well. My current project is a sequel!
